Biographical details

From a pro-Rosas family in San Luis, Argentina; her father was a governor. When her father's governorship fell in 1840 she did charitable works and was one of the founder members of the Sociedad de Beneficencia in San Luis. She married Valentín Bargas Tisera in 1844. (Sosa de Newton, 113)
