Instituto Riva-Agüero, Lima

Address: Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Lima Perú

Contact:

Description: Opening hours 11am to 8pm. Some salas close from 1-2pm for lunch.

Letter of introduction and small entrance fee required for access. Very friendly place to work in a lovely colonial house (Riva-Agüera's). The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. It includes an extensive library and the family archive. The Colección Félix Denegri Luna, dedicated to the nineteenth century opened in December 2002. This will have an on-line catalogue and should be excellent when fully developed.
