NunsBiography:
Born in Peru in 1695, she became a nun who wrote poems (Correspondencia espiritual y poesías) and her autobiography (Vida, both unpublished). Her work is said to resemble the spiritual eroticism of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. She wrote with regret about the expulsion of the Jesuits. She died in 1793. (Armacanqui-Tipacti, 217, 573)
