She was born in Lobos, Argentina in 1812. In 1841 she married Dr. Marcos Paz who was vice-president to Mitre. She was president of the Sociedad de Beneficencia in 1869-70 and 1878-79. She died in Buenos Aires on 24 June 1885. (Sosa de Newton, 135)
