Biography:
From Bogotá, she was the daughter of Bernadino Ricaurte and Dolores Nariño, niece of Antonio Nariño and sister of Trinidad Ricaurte y Nariño and José María Ricaurte.

She attended the Sumalave pro-independence tertulias in Bogotá. (Díaz y Díaz, 29)

She was part of the González Manrique, Alvarez, Ricaurte, París, Pardo, Nariño clan. (Monsalve, 139)

She, her mother, sisters and cousins were exiled by Morillo in 1816, and made to walk to Zipacón . Shortly after the battle of Boyacá she married Alejandro Osorio. (Monsalve, 160, 232)
