From Caracas, she married Vicente Gomez. He was killed while serving the Crown in the independence wars and was commended by General Monteverde. In February 1815 she asked the Crown to pay her debts and to accept her three sons in the army so they could earn a salary. (Gaceta de Caracas, 8/11/1815)
