From Cochabamba, she was the mother of independence heroes José Manuel Chinchilla and José Miguel Chinchilla. In 1815 she was captured and her house was set on fire by her sons´ enemies. She was taken to Viloma, with the youngest son who was just a child. (Urquidi, 207)
