From La Guaira, Venezuela, the servant of José María España and Joaquina Sánchez, she delivered messages about the Gual-España conspiracy (1797). She was sentenced to a week of public humiliation and six months in prison in 1799. On her release she was forced to serve in the house in which she was placed. (Monsalve, 18-20)
