From Venezuela, she married Coronel Manuel Villapol, a Spaniard who supported independence. He died in battle at San Mateo. Their son, Pedro Villapol was injured in this battle, he was imprisoned and executed by Pablo Morillo at Cartagena in 1815. (Monsalve, 78-79)
