Biography:
From Mexico ,she was the wife of Pedro Moreno (later immortalised by Mariano Azuela). She participated in the insurgent campaign along with her sisters-in-law. Her husband was killed in 1817 as were all but one (Guadalupe) of her sons. (Domenella, 370.)

She was detained in the Congregación de Silao in October 1817. On 13 October 1817 she asked for her freedom claiming that she had not committed any revolutionary act. Her request was refused. (Miquel i Vergés, 462)

Her sisters-in-law (named only as las hermanas Moreno) served Mexico at Pedro Moreno's side. (González Obregón, 162)
