Born in Buenos Aires on 17 March 1766, she was the daughter of María Cristina Ross y Poza Silva and Gregorio Pedro Ramos Mexía. In 1812 she offered financial support to the independence cause. She was one of the three founders of the Sociedad de Beneficencia. She died on 2 February 1832. (Sosa de Newton, 527)
