The daughter of Mercedes de Figueroa y Toledo Pimental and Apolinar Usandivaras. She married José Antonio Fernández Cornejo on 27 October 1803. He was alcalde of Salta when independence broke out and pledged support for the patriots. She also collaborated with the patriots while working on their sugar cane business. (Sosa de Newton, 650)
