From Mexico City, she married Manuel Díaz. They were both members of the Sociedad de los Guadalupes included lawyers, priests, owners, merchants, and several women. They were linked by social and family ties. They hosted meetings of the group at their hacienda de León and gave money to fund the movement's projects. (Gueda, 50)
