Biography:
The daughter of Francisco de Borja Aráoz and Damiana Carrera, cousin of Javiera Carrera. She married Manuel de Figuera y Polo in 1810. In October 1789 she wrote to her father from the Monasterio de las Augustinas, Santiago de Chile, where she was being taught. She wrote to Javiera Carrera in the 1810s. (Vergara Quiroz, 42-43, 81-82)
