Biography:
From Venezuela, she was the sister of Dolores Montilla de Delpech. She was exiled in Paris in 1821. Her letters to Carmen Palacios Obelmejías and Josefa Palacios de Vega indicate a refusal to cooperate in the Independence movement. (Knaster, 478.)
