She was awarded the Orden del Sol by San Martín in 1822. (Gaceta de Lima, 23-1-1822, p.3) Her name does not appear on subsequent lists.
She was from a staunch patriot family and she joined the cause (action unspecified). She was imprisoned and tortured, but she refused to give any information to the royalists. (García y García, 255)
