Born in 1803, possibly in Germany, she became a singer and composer. She arrived in Santiago de Chile in 1822 and introduced Rossini's operas to Chilean society. She held an artistic and literary tertulia at her home, at which Mercedes Marín de Solar met the composer Henri Lanza in 1840. She died in 1869. (Feliu Cruz, 132, Silva Castro, 69.)
