Born in Lima, she married Alonso Calderón de la Barca y Bota. In 1752 she paid for the construction of a Casa de Ejercicios para mujeres, which was run by Jesuits. When the Jesuits were expelled, she asked Viceroy Amat to allow the Casa to continue. It was later run by the Presbyterian Dr. Mateo Aguilar. (García y García, 187-188)
