Text: Buenos Aires, junio 23 de 1811.
Mi querido Moreno de mi corazón: acaba de mandar doña Mercedes Lasala a ver si quiero escribirte, aunque hace ya días que te escribí vuelvo a hacerlo por no dejar de hablarte aunque sea por media de estos cuatro renglones, y te incluyo esa "Gaceta"; no te escrito más largo porque no hay más tiempo que un ratito; ha visto hoy tu madre carteles en las esquinas para que acusen a Belgrano, el que tenga de qué para hacerle el consejo, y adiós mi querido Moreno, no te olvides de mí, recibe memorias de todas, tu mujer que te ama más que a sí misma.
