E - Navigation, October 16th - 17th 2007, Oslo

Nordic Institute of Navigation

The Nordic Institute of Navigation (NNF) arranged the E-Navigation Conference and Exhibition at the Norwegian Space Centre, Drammensveien 165, NO-0277 Oslo October 16th – 17th 2007.

Currently, IMO is developing a strategic vision for maritime e-navigation, with the purpose of integrating existing and new electronic navigational tools in an all-embracing system that will contribute to enhanced navigational safety while simultaneously reducing the burden on the navigator. But what about air, land and space navigation?

The subject E-navigation is only in its beginning. Can we offer to the navigation community some broader aspects on this issue?
