Moodle training

After a lengthy consultation and evaluation process, the University has chosen the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Moodle to succeed WebCT, which will be discontinued in September 2012. As part of the preparation for this, the University's Learning Team is running a series of 2-hour Introduction to Moodle sessions for staff between December 2011 and August 2012. The course is designed to give you the knowledge and understanding on how use Moodle and to design your module area, whether starting from scratch or migrating material from WebCT. The Health, E-Learning and Media (HELM) group in this School will also be running training and familiarisation sessions, which are currently in gestation and will be announced on the SONET site when they emerge.
