The University of Nottingham Interdisciplinary Centre for Analytical Science (UNICAS) aims to facilitate interdisciplinary research and enhance research capacity in cutting edge analytical science.
The UNICAS Sandpit events have been arranged for the next academic year. They aim to enable researchers to network, showcase their research expertise, discuss research challenges and find solutions to those challenges. All delegates will be required to present a 1-slide-in-1-minute.
The themes and dates for the next Sandpit event is Sustainable Societies, 25th January 2017, Sutton Bonington.
Following these events, delegates will be able to apply for funding for an interdisciplinary research project resulting from the sandpit.

Research Staff/Academic and Technical Staff (up to £15,000).
2nd Year PhD Students and Research Staff (up to £5,000).
