Every year countless numbers of girls and boys are commercially sexually exploited in California, most of them listed as simple runaways and often forgotten by authorities. Through testimonials from survivors now courageously fighting for the rights of victims worldwide, and highlighting heroic stories from abolitionists and advocates who work night and day to protect children and to put an end to this epidemic, California’s Forgotten children is not just a documentary, it is a movement.
This screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the diretor Melody C Miller, Executive Director of Survivors Alliance Minh Dang, and Rigts Lab modern slavery expert Juliana Semione.
Open to students, staff and public. £2 for students, £9 for non-concessions.
