Description

Join the Alumni team at Lakeside Arts to learn how to improve resilience through reimagining failure with guest speaker Alexander McLean (Law, 2007), Founder and CEO of Justice Defenders, Senior TED Fellow, Ashoka Fellow and UK Young Philanthropist of the Year.

Alexander will explain how overcoming failure and rejection is inherent to the identity of Justice Defenders, which addresses the global justice gap by equipping justice defenders through legal education, training and practice. Alexander will share his journey, from Nottingham to Founder and CEO, as Justice Defenders have evolved from doing for the defenceless at the outset to reforming the system together.

This event takes place from 5.45-8.30pm on Tuesday 1 October. You can join in-person at Lakeside Arts on University Park campus or online.
