Description
Syria

The Human Rights Law Centre will host a screening of Syria's Disappeared during the Law and Politics of the Syrian Conflict symposium organised by the Centre for Conflict, Rights and Justice (NTU) and Nottingham International Law and Security Centre (NILSC).

This symposium on Syria aims to provide an inter-disciplinary forum for informed discussion and to increase the level of knowledge and debate on this important, pressing and relevant subject.

The documentary Syria's Disappeared tells the hidden story of tens of thousands of men, women and children disappeared by the regime of President Bashar al Assad into a network of clandestine detention centres. It has won two awards, including the British Journalism Award for Investigation of the Year.

Attendance to the symposium is free, but please reserve your place.
