Free Saibaba - Scholars At Risk Student Advocacy Seminar

The UoN HRLC Scholars At Risk Student Advocacy Seminar are advocating for the release of Professor GN Saibaba in India, wrongfully imprisoned because of his academic thought and work. Both his human rights and academic freedom are being gravely violated and we hope to raise awareness of his case. As members of the university, we feel it is vital that we come together to defend academic freedom and, in this case, fight for the freedom of one of India’s great minds. 

Join our round-table discussion of the case and the situation of academic freedom in India, with speakers from InSAF India (International Solidarity for Academic Freedom in India) and the US Free Saibaba Coalition.
