Research Summary
Primarily, I am working on a defence of Ayer's Sense-Datum Theory, and this has involved an investigation into Ayer's deeper epistemological concerns.
My secondary research focus relates to how theories and problems within Ayer's epistemology intersect and conflict with the philosophical issues raised by Wittgenstein.
I also have a wider interest in specific themes within the history of analytic philosophy, particularly the work of the Logical Positivists and Quine, and how this connects with Ayer's philosophical interests.
