PG History Work in Progress Seminars are running online this autumn

Wednesday 28 October 2020

The History Postgraduate Work in Progress Seminars are a seminar series run by postgraduates for postgraduates. These sessions facilitate interdisciplinary discussion, enable shared learning, and provide a supportive and friendly environment for those in the early stages of their research to hone presentation skills and test out developing ideas. We welcome postgraduate students at any stage (Masters or PhD) with an interest in history to join us!

All seminars for the autumn semester will run on Microsoft Teams, 4 – 6pm. The first hour will be dedicated to presentations and discussion, while the second hour will be open for socialising and catching up.

Presentations for this week's session:

Ellie Cox

'The Columbinus Prophecy in England'

Szinan Radi

'Direct Taxes of Private Entrepreneurs in Socialist Hungary, 1945-1956: building theory in the archives'

The seminar will take place on Microsoft Teams at 4pm.

Please email Natalie Grace or Frederick Lloyd Williams to be added to the group.
