Dr Richard Gaunt will chair two sessions: Nottingham Castle Re-development with Cal Warren of Nottingham City Council On the anniversary of the burning of Nottingham Castle in 1831, the first session considers the £24m Heritage Lottery Fund redevelopment of the Castle, and explores some of the issues which face curators and gallery designers, in transforming the site into a worldclass visitor attraction. Recent Research into Robin Hood with Dr Judith Mills Judith reflects on her recent research into Robin Hood, and considers his changing role in popular legend as a champion of social justice.
