Are you a Masters or PhD student? Do you want to publish your research?
Publishing helps showcase your talent, and provides great support for PhD funding applications and for your future academic career.
Here is your opportunity… new research or older essays and dissertations… we want your paper!
The Midlands Historical Review is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, student-led journal which aims to showcase the historical research being conducted across the Midlands. Established in 2017 by a group of Midlands3Cities-AHRC-funded history PhD students, the journal receives support from the Department of History and School of Humanities at the University of Nottingham.
The journal is managed by postgraduate researchers from diverse scholarly areas, including History, Archaeology, Theology, English and Classics, and welcomes research from students at any point in their university journey. We accept submissions of articles, essays, book reviews, historiographical surveys as well as other research formats.
Come to our launch event, learn about the journal, and chat with us about submitting your article or book review.
The event is hosted by Professor Jeremy Gregory, Pro Vice Chancellor for the Faculty of Arts.
To guarantee your place, register online. This event is free to attend and refreshments will be served.
