Dr Kate Law, an Africanist and feminist historian who specialises in modern South African and Zimbabwean history, has been awarded a grant from South Africa's National Research Fund.
This grant of approximately £13,000 will enable her to complete the final research for her monograph, Fighting Fertility: Race, Rights and Reproduction during Apartheid. The grant is awarded based on a researcher's recent outputs and impact as assessed by an international panel of peer reviewers.
