Part-time tutor and alumnus aids Buxton Museum and Art Gallery's Heritage Award Win

Part-time tutor and former student Dr. Neil Howe helped Buxton Museum and Art Gallery to win in the Best Care and Development of Collections Category at the 2011 Derbyshire Heritage Awards held in Derby's Silk Mill on 20th September. During a collaborative internship with the Enlightenment! Derbyshire project through the Arts Graduate Internship Scheme, Neil conducted a survey of trade and merchandising ephemera relating to eighteenth and nineteenth centuary Derbyshire, and the Best Care and Development of Collections Award recognises this research project as part of the Enlightenment project. The report can be found on the Derbyshire Blog of the Enlightenment!.
