Dr Rob Lambert of the Department of History featured in the second series of the popular Grand Tours of Scotland, presented by historian and broadcaster Paul Murton. Rob was interviewed on camera on Rothiemurchus Estate in the Cairngorms, talking about our historical efforts to protect the osprey in the late nineteenth and across the twentieth century, as part of the ‘Charms of Nature’ programme (No.4 in the series) first broadcast on BBC1 Scotland on Wednesday 30 November 2011 at 8.30pm. This will be shown in England on BBC2 sometime in 2012. The programme was made by Timeline Films in Glasgow for BBC Scotland.
