Research funding success for Dr Rob Lutton
The School of History congratulates Dr Rob Lutton for securing an Arts and Humanities Research Council Research Fellowship to write his next book. The AHRC has awarded the School £58.5k to fund an extended period of research leave in 2011-12 to write a monograph entitled
The Cult of the Holy Name of Jesus in Late Medieval and Reformation England
. The holy name was a widely popular devotion throughout England and the book will explore its significance for understanding popular religious movements more generally.
