History welcomes new academic staff

For the new academic year we are pleased to welcome three new academic staff to the Department of History: Professor Maiken Umbach (an expert in modern German history) and Dr David Laven (an expert in modern Italian history), both of whom join us from the University of Manchester, and also Dr Lorraine Blakemore, who is joining us as a Research Fellow, to work on the University History project.
