The MATILDA Summer School is being held at the University of Vienna from 1-13 July 2013 and this year’s theme is ‘Europe on the move: Gender, Minorities and Forced and Unforced Migrations in the Age of the Nation State (19th to 21st centuries)’.
This is a fantastic opportunity for MA or PhD students at The University of Nottingham, whose research relates to the general theme, to study with leading scholars of women’s and gender history. As well as attending lectures and workshops, there will be plenty of time for students to discuss their ideas with leading academics in the field and establish contacts with researchers based in Europe. Accommodation is free and 75% of travel costs will be reimbursed.
The application deadline is 20 April 2013 and places are limited, so apply early to avoid disappointment! Full details of the programme are available. For further information please contact Dr Sarah Browne.
