Earl of Wessex opens the National Civil War Centre

Dr David Appleby was present at the National Civil War Centre in Newark on Friday 25 September, for its official opening by Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex.

Dr Appleby (pictured standing next to the Earl of Wessex) is an expert on the British civil wars of 1642–51, and is one of the main historical advisors to the Centre.
