History student wins national dissertation prize

Jessica Dytham, who graduated summer 2016 with a BA Hons 1st Class from the Department of History, has been awarded a Prize for Undergraduate Achievement in Maritime History by the British Commission for Maritime History for her dissertation 'How Successful were the Slave Merchants in Liverpool at Adapting to the Abolition of the Legal Slave Trade?'.
