Cultures of Occupation: Establishing a Transnational Dialogue

Friday 12 – Sunday 14 January 2018

Cultures of Occupation: Establishing a Transnational Dialogue is a 3-day conference at the University of Nottingham, organised through the ERC-funded Cultures of Occupation in Twentieth Century Asia (COTCA) project. The aim of this conference is to bring together scholars from a range of disciplines, backgrounds and countries to explore the fundamental question which drives the COTCA project itself: "How does 'foreign occupation' (broadly defined) influence cultural expression?"

There will be a keynote speech from Mire Koikari (University of Hawai'i).

Please direct any questions to Dr Jeremy Taylor

For further information, please see the conference website here.
