Bethany Marsh wins Midlands History Prize

Congratulations to Bethany Marsh, who was awarded the Midland History Prize. Bethany is a second-year Midlands3Cities PhD student, based in the Department of History. Her prize-winning article is titled ‘Lodging the Irish’: an exploratory study of refugee activity and local charity in Nottinghamshire, 1641-1651.’ It will be published in the prestigious history journal Midland History.
