The Wang Jingwei and Lin Baisheng Photograph collection, held at Stanford University's East Asia Library, includes around 200 photographs which once belonged to Lin Baisheng, the Minister of Publicity under the 'collaborationist' regime of Wang Jingwei (which ruled over large sections of Japanese-occupied China in the 1940-1945 period). The collection has been digitized, and is now available to researchers on-line here.
The collection includes many images which have never been circulated before, and provides a fascinating insight into the workings of the Wang Jingwei regime. The digitization of this important collection was a collaborative project between the East Asia Library at Stanford, and the COTCA Project.
