Huge congratulations to the staff from Humanities who have been recognised in this year’s Lord Dearing Awards.

The scheme was launched in 1999, by Ronald Dearing, the fifth Chancellor of the University of Nottingham. Since its launch it has seen over 100 staff awarded for high quality teaching, supporting an excellent learning environment for our students.

Onyeka Nubia won an individual award for high levels of commitment to teaching and learning within the teaching, academic and research category.

Foundation Arts Team won a collective award also for high levels of commitment to teaching and learning within the teaching, academic and research category.

Faculty ESE Team (Aoife, Kate, Lindsay, Mieke, Natalie and Ruth) were awarded as a group as their support provided to students is excellent within the Technicians and Professional Services category.
