Rob Lambert's environmental endeavours

Department of History's Dr Rob Lambert has been busy recently in his new role as University Environmental Ambassador.

He has featured in the recent commemorative 25 year Rutland Osprey Project edition of Wild Leicestershire and Rutland, Summer 2021 membership magazine.

Rob also made an appearance in Antiques Road Trip (Series 22, Episode 6, broadcast on 17 May 2021) on BBC1. He joined Latvian antiques dealer Irita Marriott at the Skegness Seal Sanctuary 'Natureland' to talk about how seals drove forward the environmental agenda post-1960. They also both hand-fed fish to orphan seal pups! You can view this for free here.

Rob is also filming this summer for a new four-part landmark series made by KEO Films for BBC2, 'Nature, Culture, Us'. The series is presented by the art historian, Dr James Fox.
