Michael Lumsden Memorial Lecture 2015

The Department of Philosophy are gearing up for the annual Michael Lumsden Memorial Lecture, held on University Park Campus. The event is held in memory of Michael Lumsden who graduated in philosophy at Nottingham in 1993 and sadly died shortly after.

This year the department welcomes Professor Matthew Kieran from the University of Leeds to speak. His research interests include; aesthetics and philosophy of the arts and philosophical psychology. The occasion will also be used to present the years academic prizes to successful students in the department.
