14 October Open PGR Seminar

Location
Humanities C53
Date(s)
Friday 14th October 2022 (15:00-16:30)
Description

Calling ALL Arts and Humanities PhD and Masters students

The new PGR Arts and Humanities Open Seminar Series is a space for your work-in-progress chapters, papers, or ideas to be presented to other researchers outside your field! The seminar is an open call, so any postgraduate student with the Faculty of Arts is welcome.

The seminars will be structured with a presentation of no longer than 45 minutes followed by a Q&A discussion, so if you have a new chapter you are working on, making edits to that article that seems to take forever, or you have been toying with an interesting academic hot take, we would love to hear it!

It’s not only a chance to present to other researchers, but an opportunity for you to learn more about what your colleagues do here at The University of Nottingham and engage in a richer research environment through regular meetings, Friday 3pm-4.30pm, with researchers from other departments

Contact Megan Drury for more details and to present at one of the seminars. This is an informal space for all PGR students to discuss their work.
