Two New videos available to view now: Why Study Asceticism - Christians over the centuries have engaged in a wide range of a practices (e.g. fasting) as a means of prayer and of growing in their discipleship. This video looks at the origins of Christian asceticism, how it has influenced lives of Christians in general (not just nuns and monks); and what it can tell us about Christianity as a religion. Why Study Hans Urs von Balthasar - Dr Karen Kilby gives a critical introduction to Swiss theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar (1905-88) whose influence on theology is greater now than during his life time.
