The inaugural Faculty of Arts Global Culture Festival is being held between Tuesday 3 May and Friday 6 May as a celebration of international culture and diversity in the Faculty of Arts.
Many free events are being held throughout the week, including:
- International film screenings
- Creative writing and art workshops
- "In conversation with..." sessions with academic staff across the Faculty
- Sushi workshop
- Alumni careers event
- The Global Extravaganza event, showcasing hidden talents from students across the Faculty of Arts
There will also be food trucks throughout the week at Djanogly Terrace on Portland Hill.
All events are free to attend and can be booked on our website.

Global Extravaganza
Our Faculty of Arts students will be the stars of the show on Thursday 5th May at 6.30pm when our Global Extravaganza will showcase our students’ talents on stage to celebrate the internationality of our Faculty, with international music and dance, a night to remember with complimentary International food! "In conversation with..."
Watch these mini sessions offered by teachers in the Faculty of Arts, covering extremely interesting and varied topics. Each academic is also offering a ‘live’ session on their topic. Please watch the videos in your own time and attend the corresponding ‘live’ session to ask any questions and express your opinions on these sessions.
