On Thursday 21 September the Institute for Asia and Pacific Studies (IAPS) will present a one day symposium to reflect on 70 years of Indian independence.
The event, held in association with the Department of American and Canadian Studies, will take place in A01 and A02 Highfield House from 9am-5pm. Dr Andrew Whitehead, honorary professor at the University of Nottingham and Senior Research Fellow at King’s India Institute, will present the keynote lecture.
