New ICEMiC Director

From 15 September 2023, Dr Morteza Hashemi took over the role of Director for Identities, Citizenship, Equalities, and Migration Centre (ICEMiC) at the School of Sociology and Social Policy. We would like to thank the former Director, Dr Elena Genova, for her contribution to the Centre in the past few years. Dr Hashemi is an Assistant Professor in Sociology and author and editor of books such as 'Theism and Atheism in a Post-Secular Age' and 'Religion in Fortress Europe'.
