An exciting new Youtube Channel that premieres videographic discussions with a range of researchers on the theme of Ecological Reparation is now live.
The channel explores different ways in which ecological thinking and practice may enable reparation, as well as how reparation for damages done could be ecological. Interventions present work engaged in remediating and repairing, as well as claiming reparations for, more than human ecologies. Participants start from diverse standpoints connecting the social sciences, environmental sciences and humanities, as well as critical theory, feminist and decolonial perspectives.
Aspects of this research appear in: Papadopoulos D., Puig de la Bellacasa, M., & Tacchetti, M., (Eds.). (2022). Ecological Reparation. Repair, Remediation and Resurgence in Social and Environmental Conflict. Bristol: Bristol University Press.
